So Now I Tell Stories About It.

Hi, I'm Laura.

I’m the founder of Good Grit, an iconic Southern brand built on telling damn good stories that matter. I’ve started businesses and nonprofits, raised capital, sold a company, and spent the last two decades learning how storytelling can create impact, trust, and real momentum.

Everything I get involved in has to have a reason to exist. I want the work I do to really help people not just look good on paper. Throughout my life I’ve had some real wins. I’ve had epic failures. And failure just happens to be one of my favorite F-words (not my very favorite😉), because it has and continues to teach me things success never will.

I’m not interested in having it all figured out. I’m interested in doing the work, learning as I go, and being as generous with what I’ve learned as possible. Oh, and I’m pretty damn passionate about getting a little better every day.

Show up a mess. Show up late. Show up hopeful. Just don’t stop showing up.
